The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is predicting an above normal Atlantic Hurricane Season this year.

The season is on track to be above normal. The updated outlook calls for:

13 - 19 Named Storms (39 - 73 mph)
6 - 9 Hurricanes (> 74 mph)
3 - 5 Major Hurricanes (> 111mph)
